OnceOut

Write one post. Publish it everywhere you show up.

OnceOut takes what you type once and posts it to LinkedIn, X, Threads, Bluesky, Substack Notes, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. Schedule it, attach photos or a video, and rewrite only the platforms that need a different version.

OnceOut is in beta. It works in your phone's browser today and installs to your home screen. A native app is next.

The part of posting that eats your week, handled

    Schedule it once

Pick a date and time and OnceOut publishes for you from its server, so your phone can be off. Everything waiting shows up in one queue where you can post now, cancel or retry.

    Photos and video

Attach up to four photos, or one video. Photos are resized in your browser before they upload. Videos upload with a progress bar and go out as a Reel, a YouTube video and a TikTok.

A different version when you need one

A post that is too long for Bluesky gets its own editor with a live counter. Every other platform keeps your original text.

    Retries that do not double-post

If one platform fails, retry sends only to the ones that failed. The ones that worked are never sent twice.

Set up takes a few minutes, and you do it once

    1. Create an account

Email and a password. That is the only account you make here.

    2. Connect your platforms

LinkedIn, X, Threads, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok use each platform's own sign-in screen. Bluesky takes an app password and Substack Notes takes a session cookie.

    3. Write, pick platforms, post or schedule

The platforms you connected are one tap each. Post now, or choose when it goes out.

    What each platform supports

Platforms differ, and OnceOut does not hide that. This is what works today.

    • YouTube and TikTok keep uploads from apps that have not been through their review private. Until that review is done, those posts stay private.
    • LinkedIn connections last about 60 days, then you reconnect with one tap. OnceOut shows the countdown.

    Your logins stay yours

Platform connections are encrypted on the server and tied to your account, so other users can never use them. You can disconnect a platform or delete your account at any time, and everything you stored is removed, including photos, videos and scheduled posts. Read the privacy policy.

    Questions

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Open OnceOut in your phone's browser and use Add to Home Screen. It then opens like an app, with a place to write, attach and schedule. A native app is planned.

Will scheduled posts go out if my phone is off?

Yes. OnceOut publishes from its server at the time you chose, so your phone and browser do not need to be on.

    How complete is Substack support?

Notes only, text only. Substack has no public posting API, so OnceOut uses the same route the website uses with your session cookie. It works today and may need fixing when Substack changes it.

    Which Instagram accounts work?

Business and Creator accounts. Instagram does not let apps publish Reels to personal accounts.

Can I attach photos and a video to the same post?

No. A post carries either photos or one video. Video posts go to YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. Photo and text posts go to LinkedIn, X, Threads, Bluesky and Substack Notes.
