Almost done. Fill in the parts in [square brackets] (name, address, email), then delete this box. Have a lawyer review the text, especially Liability, before you open sign-ups to the public. It is a starting point, not legal advice.

Who we are

OnceOut is run by [full name or company name], [street and number], [postcode and city], Germany. Contact: [email address].

The service

OnceOut is a tool that publishes content you write to social platforms you connect. OnceOut is in beta. Features can change, and we do not guarantee that it is always available or free of errors.

Your account

You need an account to use OnceOut. Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your content

You keep the rights to what you post. You give OnceOut permission to store it and send it to the platforms you choose, only so that the service can work. You promise that you have the right to post it and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights.

Platform rules

When you connect a platform you must follow that platform's own terms. A platform can limit, reject or remove posts, and can end API access at any time. OnceOut is not responsible for decisions the platforms make. Some connections, such as Substack Notes, use unofficial routes that may stop working without notice.

YouTube

OnceOut uses YouTube API Services. By connecting your YouTube account you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms. How OnceOut handles YouTube data is described in the privacy policy.

Posts written by AI

When you use "Check for new video", OnceOut uses an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) to write post drafts from the transcript of your video and schedules them. The drafts are generated automatically and can contain mistakes. They appear in your Queue before they are published, where you can edit, cancel or send them. You are responsible for what is published from your account, the same as for posts you write yourself.

Scheduled posts

We try to publish at the time you set. A post can be late or fail, for example because of an outage at OnceOut or at a platform, or because a connection expired. OnceOut shows the result of every attempt. Check important posts.

What you may not do

Ending the relationship

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are only liable if we breach an obligation that is essential for the service to work and that you can rely on (a cardinal obligation), and then only for the typical damage that was foreseeable when you started using OnceOut. Otherwise our liability for slight negligence is excluded. We are not liable for the loss of content that you could have saved yourself, or for posts that a platform rejects, delays or removes.

Governing law and contact

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer living in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country still apply. If you are a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is Lübeck. Contact: [email address].
